Description
An authentic handwritten envelope from the legendary East End gangster Reg Kray, postmarked 4 February 1992. This rare piece of prison correspondence, addressed to a friend named Linda, displays Reg’s distinctive and instantly recognizable handwriting. The envelope features a 24p commemorative stamp celebrating the 40th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession, and bears a clear Linslade, Bedfordshire postmark — a hallmark of genuine Kray prison mail from the early 1990s. The envelope remains intact with typical handling wear along the top edge, believed to have been opened carefully by its recipient. Despite its age, the ink and postal markings remain vibrant and highly legible, making this a fine collector-grade example of Reg’s mail.
