Roy Shaw was the ultimate hardman. He had cult status and commanded a respect that few, even in the violent world he moved in, could equal. To him, violence was simply an accepted part of his profession. He dis’nt exaggerate it, he could never excuse it, and he refused to apologize for it. His name may mean nothing to you – he’s was no actor, no showman, no wannabe celebrity. He did however, live by a merciless code, and though he may not have cloven hooves and a tail, if he went after someone, all hell came with him. Roy Shaw passed away on July 14th, 2012, from heart failure.
